11. Significant achievements in teaching / research / administration:

v Introduced the commercial production technology for Milky mushroom, Calocybe indica var. APK 2APK2 for the first time in the world (Ref: Tech.Monitor 2014).

v Responsible for the release of Oyster mushroom varieties Pleurotus eous var. APK1 (1996) and Hypsizygus ulmarius var. CO (OM) 2 (2004)  

v Organized several outreach programmes on Mushroom production since 1988. Instrumental to start regular “One Day Introductory Mushroom Training Programme” one 5th of every month, if 5th is a holiday, the next working day. So far 480 such programmes have been organized and more than 30,000 people have been imparted with the knowledge of mushroom production.

v Externally funded research projects as PI / CoPI : 15 with a Budget of more than 450 lakhs
